UFBI Seminar Series Hosts Phi Beta Kappa Scholar Victoria Sork
UFBI is hosting Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar (https://www.pbk.org/VisitingScholars) Victoria Sork, Distinguished Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Director of the Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden and Herbarium at UCLA (https://sorklab.eeb.ucla.edu/), on Mar 14-15 (right after Spring Break).
As a Visiting Scholar, Victoria will meet with two undergraduate classes, several faculty, and groups of graduate students. She will also present two talks, which will both be hybrid presentations:
Monday, March 14, 5:00PM: Public Lecture, “Why trees go nuts—climate, birds, people,” UFBI/UFII Lecture Room (CSE E251)
