What I do at UFBI:

Founding director of the Biodiversity Institute. A member of the National Academy of Sciences, Pam focuses on evolutionary patterns and processes that have generated the Tree of Life of plants. She is passionate about the importance of the Tree for human well-being and sharing the grandeur of the Tree with college students and the public.

What I do at UFBI:

As Administrative Services Specialist II, Hampton is responsible for managing both UFBI’s administrative and day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

Key duties include human resource management, financial reporting & record keeping, managing accounts payable/receivable, and aiding in budgeting and auditing. 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring legal adherence and compliance management
  • Reconciliations and reporting of all financial statements
  • Performing financial and data analysis
  • Advisory, by aiding decision-making and providing strategic advisement regarding choices for Internal, State, Federal, and local stake holders
  • Other duties as assigned to meet organizational requirements or needs

What I do at UFBI:

Coordinate events for UFBI and AIIRI; create and distribute promotional material; manage marketing; manage UFBI & AIIRI websites; book UFBI/AIIRI space, organize travel and reimbursements, handle invoices and expense payments.
