Black History Month: Panel Discussion on Careers in Biodiversity

Please join UFBI in celebrating Black History Month!  We are pleased to present three outstanding scientists who will share their research and their stories and will answer questions about career paths in biodiversity science, from natural history collections to genomics!  Our guests will be:

Hank Bart, Director, Tulane University Biodiversity Research Institute, and Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Tulane University

Scott Edwards, Alexander Agassiz Professor of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Curator of Ornithology, Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University

Jason Williams, Assistant Director, External Collaborations of the DNA Learning Center at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Long Island, New York

We look forward to 1-1.5 hours of stories, discussion, and advice, from 12 noon to 1:30 pm on Friday, Feb 26.
