Reshaping Nature Symposium: Invasive Species and Biodiversity on a Changing Planet

Sponsored by UF Biodiversity Institute, Invasion Science Institute, and Florida Climate Institute

We are pleased to invite abstract submissions for the upcoming symposium, Reshaping Nature: Invasive species and biodiversity on a changing planet, taking place at the University of Florida’s Reitz Union on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

This one-day, free symposium will bring together researchers, practitioners, and students to explore emerging research results, new methods, and collaborative solutions for predicting, understanding, and managing invasive species and biodiversity in a rapidly changing world.

We welcome contributions across disciplines that advance invasion science, biodiversity conservation, climate science, ecological forecasting, management strategies, social dimensions of invasions, and related fields.

Abstracts are due January 19th, with the approved agenda to follow shortly after. Please submit your abstract here. Registration will open in mid-January.
