Create Online Modules in Tropical Biology

Would you like to share your cool story about tropical biology that is based on one of your publications? Are you interested in gaining experience to boost your undergraduate teaching credentials? Now is your chance to integrate your research into teaching through the OCELOTS Network (Online Content for Experiential Learning of Tropical Systems, an NSF-funded project!

We are holding an in-person workshop to guide you through creating an online, open-access module in tropical biology that is targeted for undergraduate biology education and based on your research. The module will be published on the Gala platform, along with an abstract on the QUBES platform that will receive a doi. You will receive an OCELOTS Education Scholar Certificate. There is also a $2000 stipend available for successful completion of the module and its abstract if you are eligible to receive it. The workshop will meet four times on Fridays in February.
